THE EFFECT OF COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT ON ECONOMIC IMPROVEMENT IN BAMUS BAMA VILLAGE, BAMUS BAMA DISTRICT, TAMBRAUW REGENCY

Based on the results of data analysis and discussions that have been conducted, it can be concluded that the community empowerment program has a significant impact in driving economic growth in Kampung Bamusbama. Activities such as training, business mentoring, and providing access to capital have proven capable of optimizing the utilization of local potential. This contributes to the formation of new value-added businesses, an increase in community income, and a reduction in dependence on external aid.
The findings from the statistical analysis, particularly the t-test results, indicate that community empowerment has a significant positive impact on the improvement of residents' economic welfare. Therefore, these programs need to be continuously developed and strengthened to ensure that their benefits can be widely and sustainably felt by the entire community.
Suggestion: To encourage a more equitable economic improvement in Kampung Bamusbama, it is recommended that the scope of empowerment programs be expanded to include all elements of society, including vulnerable groups such as women and youth. Access to markets also needs to be strengthened using digital technology, such as e-commerce and social media, as well as strategic partnerships with the private sector or local cooperatives.
