Abstract

This article explores the strategic role of the church in national development through its involvement in the business sector. In the context of globalization, digital disruption, and moral crisis, the church is not only a spiritual institution but also a transformative agent in the social and economic spheres. Grounded in the theology of work and Kingdom theology, business activities are viewed as part of the divine calling to manifest ethical values, justice, and the common good. The church is called to shape the economic character of its members, instill Christian business ethics, and build a sustainable and moral business ecosystem. Through education, entrepreneurship communities, and cross-sector collaboration, the church can empower its members and contribute concretely to national development. The article also highlights theological and cultural challenges, as well as promising opportunities through youth engagement and digital innovation. A church active in the marketplace not only expands its ministry impact but also lives out its mission in building the nation.
