Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Inovasi Pendidikan Islam dalam mengembangkan Kurikulum Merdeka yang menuju konsep Local Genius 6.0 dengan penerapan Internet of Things (IoT). Dengan mengidentifikasi tantangan dan peluang dalam penerapan IoT pada kurikulum, penelitian ini menggali metode yang tepat untuk meningkatkan Inovasi Pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi terhadap guru-guru Pendidikan Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, meskipun terdapat kesadaran tentang pentingnya integrasi IoT dalam kurikulum, keterbatasan sumber daya dan kurangnya pemahaman mendalam menjadi hambatan utama. Implikasi dari temuan ini menekankan pentingnya pelatihan intensif dan pendekatan kolaboratif antara lembaga pendidikan dan industri untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menghadapi era IoT. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam mempersiapkan guru Pendidikan Islam untuk menjadi agen perubahan dalam adopsi teknologi yang semakin maju dalam konteks pendidikan.
